Almic Engineering has expanded its premises several times over the past 50 years, to house its modern workshop and warehouse.

Our CNC turning centres have bar feed capabilities and vary as follows:

• NAKAMURA TMC 15    2 machines… 150mm chuck work or 41mm bar capacity
• NAKAMURA TMC 30    1 machine …   250mm chuck work or 76mm bar capacity
• OKUMA ACT 3              1 machine …    250mm chuck work or 50mm bar capacity
• OKUMA ACT 4               1 machine …  300mm chuck work or 90mm bar capacity
• MORI SEIKI AL2           2 machines … 150mm chuck work or 41mm bar capacity
• MORI SEIKI SL15        2 machines … 250mm chuck work or 50mm bar capacity
• MORI SEIKI SL25        1 machine …   250mm chuck work or 63.5mm bar capacity
• MORI SEIKI SL200    1 machine.....   250mm chuck work or 60mm bar capacity
• HITATCHI SEIKI           1 machine …   250mm chuck work or 63.5mm bar capacity

Other Services:

To compliment our CNC facility we have our own in-house grinding facility, centre lathe and millers to aid with the production of jigs and fixtures.

Sub-contract Services:

In addition to machining we can offer the secondary processes that most machined components require i.e. electro plating, hardening, welding, polishing and internal/external grinding.
